With Tap to Pay on iPhone you can accept all types of in-person, contactless payments on your iPhone — no extra hardware needed.

Tap to Pay on iPhone uses the built-in features of iPhone to keep your data and your customer’s data private and secure.
1. Open the GuestTappy app on your iPhone, and start a payment request from the freetobook diary.
2. Present your iPhone to the customer.
3. Your customer holds their card horizontally or device at the top of your iPhone, over the contactless symbol.
4. When you see the Done tick, the card read is complete and the transaction is being processed.

When a payment is processed, Apple doesn’t store card numbers or PIN information on the device or on Apple servers, so you can rest assured knowing your business stays yours.
All of freetobook’s in-person payments are powered by Stripe.
Any freetobook customers with a Stripe account and an iPhone in one of the following countries:

Once you have a freetobook account you can subscribe to our Stripe integration, download the iOS GuestTappy app and start sending payment requests to the app for in person payment.
Accepting payments is easy and takes just a few simple steps.
1. Create a payment request from your freetobook diary.
2. Open GuestTappy on a compatible iPhone and login.
3. Present the iPhone to the customer.
4. The customer holds their contactless card horizontally or hovers their device at the top of the iPhone, over the contactless symbol.
5. When you see the “done” checkmark, the transaction is complete.
6. Transaction will show in the guest’s booking
Tap to Pay on iPhone is available on iPhone XS devices and above, running the latest iOS.
